17 April - 28 May 2010. Turkish artist Pinar Yolacan is a critically acclaimed photographer who has exhibited in such varied locations as Brazil, Denmark, Dubai and New York. At first glance, the artist's work appears to be of a classical, figurative style. However, upon closer inspection, viewers are startled to notice that the artist's subjects are bizarrely adorned with meat and poultry.

With a modern nod to the artwork of 16th century Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo, Yolacan is concerned with feminist, political and historical issues. This arresting collection comprises 12 life-size portrait photographs of African-Brazilian women.

Mon-Fri: 10.00-18.00. Sat: 12.00-17.00 (Sunday by appointment)
